Prior to World War I, Henry Miller and Robert O. Veit were separately employed in the diamond business. The two met in France while serving their country during the war. Upon their return to the United States they decided on a future together in the diamond industry. On January 1, 1923 their partnership was formed and continues today four generations later.

Miller & Veit, Inc. was founded on strong principals of trust and honesty. These same values continue today. In the early years of the diamond business, diamonds were loosely graded. By contrast, Miller & Veit, Inc. devised a numerical system which minimizes the subjectivity of the grading process. Today this same system has evolved with the diamond industry to break down color and clarity more precisely than the current diamond grading laboratories. Miller & Veit, Inc. has always prided itself on furnishing finely cut diamonds that are carefully and skillfully graded with ninety-four years of experience. This same care has been carried over to our line of jewelry. Over the years the mounted line has grown at the requests of fine retail jewelry stores in need of quality jewelry. Presently we carry engagement rings, wedding rings, stud earrings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, and pins.
